It started on a warm spring evening. Cassie and Acid shared a scotch at the top of Smith St, reminiscing over their biggest influences, musical experiences and the discovery that they had unknowingly crossed paths numerous times before in the Melbourne music scene.

Dedicated to their craft and with a passion for creating music, they both felt the desire to add to their decade long journey in the Melbourne Rock Trade.
And... CASH was born - a fiery Pop Rock duo with a steadfast vision.
They set out to create their own sound, drawing inspiration from Fleetwood Mac's classic songwriting, PJ Harvey's depth and darkness, and the sexy riffage of Queens of the Stone Age.
Whilst channeling Chrissy Amphlett's prowess, Pat Benatar's gutsy vocals, Gwen Stefani's sassy sulk and the essence of KISS, they have honed a unique sound and perform with authenticity and attitude.
