- One Night in Brunswick... Will be an absolutely awesome musical Journey, Opening with Mark Gardner Trio, Featuring the amazing Mark Gardner on Vocals and Guitar, John Hunter Combo on Guitar, Harmonicas and Vocals, and the ever brilliant Gordon Gunn on Bass. These guys are a phenomenal mix of several sub genres of Blues and at some stages bordering on Rock, but I digress.... This takes us onto the next act - Fionnuala McKenna - in all her amazing folky jazzy blueseyness, this lovely lady not only has an amazing set of pipes, she's no slouch on the guitar either! Cameron Holmes is up next, a local lap steel blues player that will be bringing it all with a rare band show, bringing up several guests, and hopefully dragging in as many of the other performers as he can get his mits on to join in and make one impenetrable wall of awesome blues. Headlining this whole field of shenanigans is The Melbourne City Ska Collective, One huge Over-Grown Spectacle of a Ska Ensemble - Horns, Winds, Strings 2/3rds Sweet 1/3 chaos! They will tear the house down, and leave you wanting more, and more, and more. This is simply an event not to be missed!
