Starting at an early age vocalist Seren Skies (Amber Pope) always was singing a tune, grabbing her mom's microphone at age 3 to sing along with some old fashioned vinyl. Through childhood and teen years, she was always involved in what ever musical or concert was up to part take in. By doing so she was accepted into the local Amatuer Playhouse at the age of 17. At 23 she tried out for the 1st Australian Idol where her hope were nearly smashed after being told her voice was brilliant but her 'looks' were not 'marketable'. A few years down the track, with more life experience under her feet, she has decided that now is the time venture back to what she loves. Its been a long time coming this album..it just hadnt made it till now. She believes it shouldnt matter what you look like...music moves peoples souls..she wants to have someone listen to her songs because they stir something within them. 'Obscure Views' is available at https://serenskies.bandcamp.com with 2 bonus tracks...which has already started to grab attention in certain parts of the industry. 'Obscurity (Radio Edit) has been selected tp play on KLEDLive 91.1fm in L.A. on The Uncle Earl Show, It also reached the Top 180 songs for 2014 on NBTMUSICRADIO in 4mths. Most recently she has been placed on the Artist Reach 'Unsigned Rising Artists Roster' which is affiliated with Saturday Night Live/NBC and has released the 1st new single of the new upcoming EP/Album. #SkiesTheLimit #MusicIsLife

A great review for Obscurity (Radio Edit)... thoughts I really liked this. I know all too well about depression but I also know the shit we worry about, only 1% comes to pass. I loved the line about let it fade into obscurity cuz most of it is momentary. I always like real music instead of gimmick riddled garbage where its all about what someone has. Seren’s newest album Obscure Views, is available for download or purchase on, http://www.numberonemusic.com/serenskies, is a Journey through Seren’s vocal diversity with hard driving rock vocals on “Obscurity” to the melodic, thought provoking “World of Hurt”. “Through the veil” has a very enchanting Debbie Harryesque sound to it. As an added bonus track you have “Become a Display” Mixed and Mastered by King LIV, who has worked with composers for Eminem, Justin Timberlake and Madonna, to name a few. All in all, this album is a definite buy, especially if you a child of the 80’s, you can hear a definite 80’s influence on this album, just without the bad hair.
