SheWolF are an all female contemporary pop/rock group, based in Williamstown, Victoria that compose and perform original songs based on diverse musical influences. Each member has developed their music after exposure and participation in school bands, orchestra or drama studies. They have a passion and energy for developing a unique style that can be appreciated by all audiences and is reflected in the exposure gained through performance. From their debut in 2013 at Musicland Melbourne. SheWolF have performed in many Melbourne venues as well as a short tour in Cairns (January 2015), which has enabled them to create new songs and receive feedback from a range of audiences ranging in age and demographic. SheWolF recognise the importance of music in the community and have also performed at several charity events to support fundraising for worthy needs such as The Just Listen Project, for the R U OK Organisation.
Besides performing to showcase their original songs, SheWolF have competed against other original artists in a series of band competitions, developing and rehearsing their musical sound, and collaborating with other talented musicians in joint performances. A highlight of their short career so far was receiving recognition in the “Kool Skools Recording Project” by winning first places in the original musical writing competition (2014). Recently, SheWolF was honoured to be invited to perform at the Melbourne Moomba Festival (February 2015). The ability to record, produce and promote their original songs will provide the opportunity to progress their dream.
“We are an all-girl rock band who is determined to get our sound out there so that we can inspire others and provide great music to our audience. We are the next generation of musicians and have a fresh, upbeat take on classic rock, as well as being versatile and passionate. We are best known for our quirky fun loving attitude and our killer harmonies, and we simply love playing our music.”
