Training at Guildford School Of Acting for 3 years in Musical Theatre
Worked in musical Theatre from 98 – 2008. First professional job whilst still at college was a tour with Danny La Rue as a dancer/singer with Ian Liston’s company Hiss and Boo. After graduating an International tour of Cameroen Mackintosh production of Oliver as the Rose Seller and Ensemble.
Lead singer for five years on Cruise ships, working with fantastic casts of singers, dancers and many wonderful choreographers through the production team Jean Ann Ryan Productions on board Norwegian and P&O Cruise Liners.
A featured singer/dancer for 7 years at Thursford Christmas spectacular with producer Mr John Cushing. This furthered passion for choral singing and harmony work, this time with a 40 piece classical singing choir, full orchestra and 20 dancers. Was invited to sing lead gospel every year with this wonderful group as well as many musical theatre numbers, in the mix of strong choral medleys.
At Thursford interest in writing and poetry grew. Performing beautiful poetry. Spoken word timed to an underscore, with full live orchestra. Work as a performer has been extensive and varied! Singing, and dancing big Musical Theatre tunes, Rock medleys, Jazz, Pop, Latin, Music hall and Cabaret
Choreographer and Assistant Director to a youth group called MJUK productions in Cirencester. Set up and run by International Opera Singer and Director Maria Jagusz.
In 2007 whilst working as a dresser back stage at Phantom of the opera, wheels were in motion – Writing, Casting and Producing See You Soon. Initially a play with music, now a 21 minute short film. From 2008-2010 in collaboration with Executive Producer Ian Carling and Director Steve Hilliker. This stimulated interest in film making and screen acting.
