Temple of Silence was formed in December 2012 by four former Superfiz musicians: Olivier Spitzer (Stators, Rebel, Satan Jokers, Shakin’Street), guitars; Philippe Kalfon (NH3, Furious Zoo, Shakin’Street), guitars; Didier Duboscq, bass; Aurel (Zuul FX, MoRgLbl, Satan Jokers), drums and the lead singer Laul Nico (Royal Bubble Orchestra, P Vibes, Animal).
Early 2013 four months are dedicated to finalize song writing as the group is hosted at SBC Studio.
The notable references of the band are Black Sabbath, Rob Zombie, Stone Sour or Nine Inch Nail.
In April drums are recorded at the famous Davout Studios in Paris with Antony Arconte as recording engineer and Olivier Spitzer as producer. Vocals, guitars and basses were then recorded at SBC Studio by Olivier Spitzer between May and September. Noël Assolo (Superfiz, Rita Mitsouko, Bernie Bonvoisin) performed additional bass recording. Christian “Zouille” Augustin (Sortilège) made back vocals appearances on three songs.
The mix has been finalized in the end of 2013
In the meantime “In My Head” has been recorded for the European compilation edited by Dooweet (100 000 copies released in September).
Further to this first release the song “Beginning of the rage” is chosen among the album songs to appear in the Doweet compilation Ghost Ship Sworn Enemy scheduled for February 2014.
