Couldn't agree more, there should be more collaboration.

I value singing and think it is neglected. Too many groups put all their emphasis on instrumentation and throw in vocals as an after-thought. Songwriters making demos think they need to sing it themselves when they would be better off getting a better singer to do justice to their work. Don't let pride and vanity ruin your chances.
